Our
Story
Hawk + Horse was born out of a deeply difficult time in my life. After the loss of my youngest son in 2021 I was searching for connection to him. That grief portal sent me to the depths of my soul and my purpose here. I've been on a path of spiritual awakening and the horses found me there.
I've always been drawn to nature and have a deep connection to her. I am at home in the outdoors, with animals, trees and the open sky. I especially love wild places away from crowds and noise.
I'm a mom of 3 and served as an elementary school educator for 20+ years. I am skilled at connecting with people. As a highly sensitive person I easily read energy and pick up on things unseen.
It's no wonder that I was drawn to shamanism in 2022. It was an ancestral call. I studied Celtic shamanic practices under a wonderful teacher finishing that certification in 2023.
I weave Celtic shamanism throughout my work with the horses. They are the original shamans and know how to travel between realms. We travel together, remembering who we are and weaving new stories.

Our Horses
Sunny and Epona
Our medicine mares are both 13 years old. Sunny is part curly horse and her personality is very aligned with her name! Epona is a mustang and grew up as a wild horse. As a lead mare her energy is very strong and powerful.
